Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Aaaahhhh

.

This is where I plant my bottom whenever I get a minute. Like many places in the United States, we have been enjoying record lows in Ohio -- beautiful cool, breezy days -- day after day. I like to say I'm enjoying our global warming.

Did you know that it's impossible to not relax in an Adirondack chair (even an inexpensive plastic one). You have to recline, let go, relax. I'm reading Water for Elephants, enjoying perfect iced tea with mint. What are you doing?

  1. That's a picture perfect setting, Barbara.

Today the girls and I are getting haircuts. It's been 3 months since the last one and we're trying a new stylist. We're hoping it goes well. ;)

After that I'm going to Adoration and then in the afternoon it's househunting time again.

  2. Great photo! I have some chairs just like that and you have inspired me to go out and enjoy the rest of the day in one of them!

    Thanks and God Bless,

  5. Lovely scene! Glad you are enjoying yourself! Today was Fancy Nancy Day at the library followed by swimming lessons. I did get a few minutes on the couch with a book, so that was nice ...
