Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Happy Zita Day!

.

If you clean the bathrooms, dust the furniture, take care of the children, it's your day! Today is the feast of St. Zita, patron of domestic workers. I consider that to be me, even though I don't get paid.

Prayer to St. Zita:

Heavenly Redeemer, may we seek to serve You as St. Zita did,
through service to her brothers and sisters on earth.
We pray that we do not despise authority but in humility and love,
seek to do Your Will by serving others. Amen.

  1. Didn't even realize! Hope I did right by my patroness today as I patrolled the family room, vacuum in hand, taking dust bunnies prisoner and fruitlessly searching for lost Bakugan.
