Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

I Married a Joker

.
Yesterday Doug took me to the grocery store. We haven't been to the grocery store together in modern history. But yesterday, I needed help. His job was to push the cart and pick up the heavy items. Period.

What actually happened was that in every aisle he put impulse buys in the cart and and I spent more time redirecting him than I normally do the kids.

But, he really misbehaved at the checkout. He went to every checkout where Obama's family was featured on People magazine. Then he turned all the stacks around so no one could see the pictures. And then he laughed a wicked laugh. Such a joker.

  1. My husband thought that was great.

I see a grocery trip in his future....

  2. I always spend way more when dear hubby comes with!!! It drives me crazy! (but he rarely comes with, so it's ok!) I was tempted myself to turn the magazines around yesterday too, great job!!! Only those poor checkout people will have to switch them around and not get it!
