Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Weekly Liturgical Activities -- Week 15

We have a busy weekend and I'm short on time to offer much in the way of activities, but I found a few things to share today. This Sunday's gospel is about the sheep, the shepherd, and the thief, so use your imagination when it comes to crafts. I have a few sheep craft item links below -- but I'm sure you can up with a lot more.

Wednesday April 16 is the Feast of St. Bernadette (the actual date of her death). And on the same day, Our Holy Father celebrates his birthday. Don't forget to sing Happy Birthday to him and maybe make a card or two, even if you just hang them on the refrigerator door.

Sunday, April 13 (Jn 10:1-10)

A coloring page here and here.

To download an entire lesson, click here.

Here is a crossword puzzle, and a dot-to-dot, and a maze, and a word search.

And a worksheet here.

Preschool and kindergarten crafts on lambs and sheep here. More sheep crafts here. And these are very cute, if you have supplies on-hand.

If you have a lamb cake mold, this Sunday would be a good time to bake it (unless you just had one at Easter). Or you can follow my friend Jennie's fine example.

St. Bernadette

St. Bernadette actually has several feast days. April 16 is the day of her death, but February 18 is another feast day. I covered most of St. Bernadette in February, so click here and see what I found.

Have a good weekend! God is good.
