Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

...And Something Good

I was so down earlier today, thinking my fellow man can be so vile-- feeling like Noah must have felt while he was building the ark.

I guess God knew I needed a little pick-me-up when a related story landed in my inbox earlier today. I did a little research and found this You Tube article. Take a few minutes, if you can, to watch it. There is good. And I had no idea.

  1. Wow, Barb...

How inspirational. Thank you for the reminder that we all owe this great debt of thanks to the men and women who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom.

  2. Amongst all of the evil in this world, God is Good: ALL the time. We only have to look for the blessings in life to find them. Thanks for sharing this. Right after our salvation, our American liberties are one of the most tremendous blessings a human can have. As Americans we have two blessings that are not always given in other countries: the freedom to pray to the God almighty and the right to pursue something better.

And we have these men and women to thank for that. And the men and women and their families who won't be together this year at Christmas because they want to ensure something bigger than themselves.

    God Bless Barb,
    Tracy
