Just Like Her

I come from a long line of good mothers. Women who were dedicated to their husbands and children, who worked like horses, who sacrificed for the sake of others, who led a faith-filled life. Good women. And I like to think that I have at least matched their virtuous ways.

But, if my daughter is called to a vocation as wife and mother, I sincerely hope that she turns out just like Jennie. She beats the pants off me and I'm not at all shy to admit it. Jennie is made from good stuff. Really good stuff.
