Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Did something like this just last week for my great-aunt. She recently moved into a senior apartment and is worried about cooking on the electric stove (she's 80, has only ever cooked on gas...) so I made her a batch of spaghetti and meatballs. Packaged it in small containers for single-dinner size, added a dozen mini-garlic breads and filled a brand-new cooler with the makings of 12 dinners. She does get a meal a day at the dining room in her complex, but she likes "homemade spaghetti" every now and again. Already she enjoyed one of them so I was glad it worked out.
That is a great gift, Barb. I do that for my Grandma a couple times a year, too. She lives a few hours away, so when I do get to visit, I bring a huge cooler full of meals, homemade bread and cookies. It really is no trouble -- I just double some pots of soup, sauce, and stews, and pack them in dinner-size portions, just like you did. She loves having some homecooked meals (it's hard to cook for one little grandma) in her freezer, and what a simple gift. Thanks for mentioning that!
