Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

An Alphabet Book of Saints

At Karen's recommendation I bought this book. It is darling. And while basic in it's approach -- to teach the alphabet -- the text goes way beyond learning letters, and will be a great resource for many years.

I was curious to see which saints would be represented by those difficult letters, you know -- Q, W, X, Y, Z. Well, Mary, Queen of Saints covered Q, St. Wenceslas covered W, of course, St. Xavier covered X, St. Joseph Yuen covered Y, and St. Zita covered Z -- thank goodness for so many wonderful Catholic saints -- not one difficult letter.

  1. I picked up this book several months back at a Catholic book store, and I love it as well! :)
