Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

He's Safe and Happy

.
Thank you to everyone praying for my oldest son. He has called a few times, especially after his ol' mom said, "Honey, you're really making me nervous. Could you call just a few times?" O.k. I'm new to this. Give me a break.

He has hiked way up a mountain and afterward said, "Mom, there was nothing to keep me from falling all the way down the mountain." O.k. Maybe I don't want him to call. He sent pictures to prove it. Unfortunately I can't transfer them to my computer or you could suffer with me.

This morning he went to the Air Force Academy football scrimmage and then ate lunch with the team. This afternoon he toured the campus. He took some great pictures of the campus and the beautiful Chapel, but I can't share those either. Sorry. He ended his day with Vigil Mass. He sounded exhausted when he called -- but happy. He'll be home tomorrow around 2 p.m., God willing.

Thank you, thank you, again for your prayers.

  1. Sounds like he's having a blast Barbara! Was in my prayers last night and rosary (your beautiful amethyst one) this morning. He will make the right decision! Maybe I should be praying for you instead! ;-)
