Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Blogger Reflection Award

Michelle at Dei Gratia, By the Grace of God! nominated me for a Blogger Reflection Award. I very much appreciate her kind words. I am sometimes outspoken when I feel passionately about something and I'm glad I haven't yet turned her off! :o)

I would like to nominate the following women. They are all funny and deep (and funny!). They are women whom, if I could pick my neighbors, I would choose. I would love to have a cocktail with ya'll at the end of the day! And I'm now going to stretch my vocabulary for adjectives to describe these lovely gals (since it's past the hour of reason for me.)

Michelle at Rosetta Stone is as outspoken and passionate like me, and I usually agree with everything she says!

Matilda at Waltzing Matilda is reflective and sometimes silly (self-admitted!) and she usually makes me laugh.

Margaret at Minnesota Mom is outrageous and profound. She frequently surprises me and that's not easy to do!

Kat at No Fighting! No Biting! is candid and genuine and I so enjoy her stories.

Dawn at By Sun and Candlelight inspires me and only makes me feel a little (a lot!) inadequate. But, I so admire her.

  1. Outrageous in a good way, I hope? ;)

First off, thank you from the bottom of my heart. To tell you the truth, (which is the least you'd expect, I know), I don't quite know where I'm going with my blog these days. I don't know if it's to the glory of God or to the glory of Margaret, and that upsets me.

    Quite a bit, actually.

So yeah. I'm thinkin' and thinkin' these days. Am I falling prey to blogger burnout and/or self-doubt? Probably. Certainly the devil knows full well the chinks in our armor.

And I totally agree with your sentiment of feeling "inadequate" when you read other blogs. Again, a temptation for the both of us and we should know
    better. :)

  2. Thank you so much! I would love to say something else, but Margaret has once again hit the nail on the head.

  3. Yes, Margaret -- outrageous good. I was going to say outrageously funny, which you usually are, but, sometimes just outrageous. But, never bad!

Yes, I should know better, but self-doubt is one of my strongest weaknesses!

    You are welcome, Matilda!
