Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Pray for our Soldiers

Psalm 23:1-6
The LORD is my shepherd; there is nothing I lack. In green pastures you let me graze; to safe waters you lead me;you restore my strength. You guide me along the right path for the sake of your name; Even when I walk through a dark valley, I fear no harm for you are at my side; your rod and staff give me courage; You set a table before me as my enemies watch; You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Only goodness and love will pursue me all the days of my life; I will dwell in the house of the LORD for years to come.

I was very affected by Jenn's post yesterday at
Far Beyond Pearls. I thought about her, and David, all evening, and still this morning. Say a prayer for him and his. I will be praying for her beloved, and all other American soldiers, until he comes home.
O Prince of peace, we humbly ask your protection for all our men and women in military service. Give them unflinching courage to defend with honor, dignity and devotion, the rights of all who are imperiled by injustice and evil. Be their rock, their shield, and their stronghold and let them draw their strength from you. For you are God, for ever and ever.

To send a message to all military men and women go here. It's free.
