Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Time to Move Ahead

.

Yesterday was our oldest son's graduation party. It was a great day -- many friends stopped by, some of his teachers and faculty visited (including the famed Sister Margaret), and many members of our family were with us. It was a long day, but a good day. We have loads of leftover food, so if you're in the area, do stop by!

Doug finally loaded the graduation pictures, so I am sharing just a few. And then, we will officially move on to the "getting ready for college" stage (or how about "getting a summer job" stage).

The family at the school.

The graduate receiving his diploma.

With the teacher who taught him both French and German.

  1. Congratulations to the graduate!

And to the mama who's worked so hard all these years--and who continues to work so hard--how are you doing?

I would love to stop by for some of those left-overs.
