I've spent most of the last three days at the hospital with a husband who has a raging infection due to a large kidney stone. They couldn't remove it because of the infection, so they put in a stent and loaded him up on pain meds. I hope you and Joshua have gotten some answers. I'll keep you in my prayers! --- Rosemarytruthfinder2https://www.blogger.com/profile/02677700018308197978noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3130102521697018241.post-42795789441682984302012-10-13T04:38:49.126-04:002012-10-13T04:38:49.126-04:00Peter and I want to thank you for sharing your tal...Peter and I want to thank you for sharing your talents with us. You are one thoughtful and talented lady.

Those pearls are simply gorgeous and I would definitely have trouble making the first snip, but just think how beautiful they will be in their new design. The pearls will be very special to work with. Do you think all of the beading affects your elbow as well? I once had bad 'tennis elbow' just from beading. There is a brace you can wear that helped a little. Mine eventually resolved and thankfully it hasn't recurred. Hope you feel better soon. I find it easier to keep everything in one blog.
That yarn is similar to mine, but yours is richer. It's beautiful - the yellow. For the record - I prefer people over computers too, but when people are too far, I'll hop on the computer for a visit. =) I'm still annoyed that you're so far from me. =(Elisahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07975746279957689529noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3130102521697018241.post-32491261281711376992012-10-12T15:59:01.915-04:002012-10-12T15:59:01.915-04:00BTW, do *not* get rid of your food blog. Seriously, you need to stop posting pics because that just makes me want to order more. I, too, love those amazonite beads (I'd love to have a rosary in those someday) and the Miraculous Medal earrings are to die for! The yellow socks are SO cheery and the merino/cashmere looks lusciously soft. I just want to touch it. I'm in love with that baby quilt. Can you be any more talented?! Good grief! The autumn, forest animal theme is right up my alley. I adore it all, Barbara. Well done. I hope your elbow gets back to normal soon. I had that when I did a bunch of socks back to back, too, but then it went away with a bit of a rest between projects. Now if I could only do something about this numbness in my fingers.
God bless your weekend!Kellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18076870583313429655noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3130102521697018241.post-30348167027898943792012-10-12T15:16:05.690-04:002012-10-12T15:16:05.690-04:00I LOVE your food blog but don't always have ti...I LOVE your food blog but don't always have time to talk. I use so many of your recipes. You need to keep it....don't delete it....I miss you when you don't post over there.

I love those earrings, they are really simple and beautiful. That pearl necklace, what a wonderful idea to rejuvenate it.

I also love that quilt, your baby quilts are the best. I hope you and Faith feel better and soon! I hope you have a wonderful weekend. I'm sure the rosaries you make with them will be treasured. Actually, I want to be crafty, but I have no one to teach me. Now sitting in the kitchen talking while you make food? I am extraordinarily talented at that. ;-)

PS: that little quilt is just the cutest! you know how much my girlies love their Barbara quilts. :)Aimeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16332125903937752882noreply@blogger.com
