Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

On the Second Day of Christmas...




...two turtle doves, made from braided challah dough, and topped with sesame and poppy seeds for color, and with almonds for eyes and beaks. I know they don't look much like doves, but the bread was wonderful with the chicken noodle soup we had for dinner.

    1. Thank you, Phyllis. I think Jessica at Shower of Roses does one big party with something for every night, but by the Twelfth night we'll be back to just four of us, and that's not enough to eat all the food!
