Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Exciting changes

Not really. Just teasing.

I just wanted to let you know, in case your email address wasn't in my address book on the computer (and many names weren't for some reason --cough, MicroSoft, cough -- even though I have emailed you) that I have anew email address.

We switched internet and cable providers after the cable went out during the National Championship football game. Priorities, you know. Last year it went out during the Super Bowl. First time shame on you, second time shame on me, right? We had to prevent that from happening again, so we switched to a service which never goes out (AT&T). Not that they don't have their own unique problems but we've never not had phone service (knock on wood).

Anyway, all of that (the switch) created quite an upheaval for me, as I have like 6,728 accounts associated with the old email address provided by our old service, so I'll be changing my email address all over the internet for months to come. So...I was on the hunt to find a new address. I didn't want to be stuck again if we switched providers so I decided not to use an att.net address, and instead when with gmail. My eldest son congratulated me for joining the 21st century and getting a webmail address. And after much bemoaning about the change, my husband suggested I just go off the grid entirely. So, figuratively I am ... My new address is MomOffTheGrid(at)gmail(dot)com. It's not cap sensitive, but Noah said it looks much better that way.

If you need to put me in your email address book, just replace the symbols for the words in the parenthesis.

Thanks for listening. {wink}

  1. Haha, love the priorities. =) I had no clue about this outage last year...which shows you just how
    (totally not) interested I am in football. Haha.

  2. Haha! We're having a *planned* outage during the half-time show. It's a good time for a family rosary. Thanks for the update. Wishing you well with all of your changes! : )

  3. Oh man, all that switching is a pain! That's the prime reason I went to a gmail account a few years ago. For a pretty heavily populated area, we have had some awful internet service problems. But then again, we've also had phone service problems too, so maybe it's just the area! :) I'll be sure to change the address.
